Tygiel Publishing
Digital library redesign for academic publisher. Search, audio TTS, citation export.

A respected Polish academic publisher with no native solution for search, audio, or one-click citation export. Their authors were emailing PDF citations by hand.
Modern library frontend with everything academic readers expect from Springer or Cambridge Core, sitting on top of their existing CMS.
Time-to-cite dropped from emailing an editor to a single button click. Audio chapters opened a new accessibility audience.
The story behind the build.
The editor-in-chief had a long list of papers about reader-facing tooling and zero budget to do it. We proposed a fixed-price modernisation with the citation generator and audio chapters as the headline upgrades, both rare in Polish academic publishing.
Features that matter.
Per-chapter audio playback (text-to-speech pipeline)
Citation generator (APA, Chicago, Harvard, MLA)
Faceted search across the whole library
Submission flow with embedded quote calculator
AI crawler friendly Schema.org markup
